An O&F operation includes a shop element with up to 350 different products, a deli with a selection of the best fresh meats, sauces, breads and cheese, and a café with such light bites as pasta dishes, sandwiches, pastries and coffee.

Regular tastings allow customers to try the products before purchasing.

We are producers not just traders. Our customers know where and what they eat comes from, as we track food from production to the table. We include in our range only products made according to traditional recipes and the highest quality standards. Over 350 products under our own brand: from organic wines to olive oil, to pasta to fresh cheese and free range meats, to coffee and freshly baked bread and pastries.

It is not just a delicatessen but a café, where hot beverages, hot food like fresh pasta, sandwiches and focaccia are cooked on premises. Preparation is as easy as possible: you do not need to be a chef! At O&F, it takes only few minutes to prepare a meal that is delicious, thanks to the quality of the ingredients and our know-how, which comes straight from the traditions of our country.

The café element improves foot flow in the shop and it adds to the concept of taste-before-you-buy which inspired us since the very start.

We are currently recruiting nationally throughout Ireland. We started in March 2005, the first operation is located in Little Catherine Street, Limerick. The company has then opened in Galway and Drogheda and this has added to the ninth Olio&Farina shop.

We have also shops in England - St. Albans and Chester, with York opening soon, France - Paris and Dijon - and, of course, Italy.

Catchment area: min. 50,000 inhabitants

Premises surface between 1.000 and 1.200 sf including a small stock room (100/150 sf)
Central and/or commercial areas such as a High Streets, Shopping Centres, and other popular shopping destinations.

High foot flow required. Café usage.

At least 3 people working inside (depending on shop size):

1 Store Manager in the shop (full time)

2 Assistants in the café (full time)

Franchise Investment: €100,000+ Inclusive, Franchise Agreement: 5 years + 5 negotiable

Entry Fee: €10,000

Management Service Fee (Royalty): 5% on the Gross Turnover (excl VAT)

Advertising Fee: 1% on the Gross Turnover (excl VAT)

The company strategy for Christmas is presented to partners during the previous summer.

4) Internet - coming from the store section on the Olio & Farina website.

5) Catering to offices and events - a wide selection of products is available in catering sizes.
